Félix Lajkó’s zither album “Field” is at the prominent 5th place of the World Music Charts Europe 2013 list! Number five out of 913 nominated records!
Field was selected as toplist leader first in August and in September held its leading place. Since decades this was the first Hungarian released album on the top, last time it was Marta Sebestyén’s album getting this honour in the 90’s. Field was released by Fono in April 2013.
The Top 10 chart is compiled each month by world music experts from 24 European countries, and published on the WMCE webpage. At the end of each year the summary list of the top 150 albums is published.
